This seminar will focus on the basics of no-limit tournament play and how to alter your strategy from cash games to take advantage of the mistakes your opponents make in tournaments. Different stack sizes present a plethora of interesting spots and payout structures can change the correct plays as well. We’ll cover basic tournament theory, how to play with various stack sizes, push/fold and restealing, and how to accumulate chips near the bubble. A set of short stack charts will be provided along with a list of instructional materials for continued study.

Texas Hold ‘Em is the most popular game type in poker, with more players and more information available on it than any other. As a result, more training than normal is required, and you’ll need the best tips in the game to have an advantage over other players. This seminar will enable you to bring your A-game to every hand, table, and tournament you are involved in, and you will soon develop your own tactics and favourite approaches depending on the situation.

The seminar will finish between five and five-thirty, giving attendees time to enter the $125 deep stack tournament starting at six o’clock.  The tournament is a great opportunity to polish your newly acquired skills before heading off to Vegas or Party poker or wherever you want to play.
