Monday, June 27th @6:00pm — Sit and Go’s

Instructors: Chris “Fox” Wallace, Adam Stemple

This workshop is only a half-day, and is the bargain of the bunch. Whether you want entries or just cash, the sit and go tournaments at the Rio are an excellent place to get both, and represent the only opportunity you get during the year to play live sit and gos in rapid secession. Fox and Adam have used them as a source of income during the WSOP for a number of years, and after this day-long workshop, you’ll be able to do the same. Includes detailed push/fold charts made for the unique payout structure and a discussion on how to make extra cash with last longer bets.

Tuesday, June 28th, 12:00pm-8:00pm — Cash Games

Instructors: Dr. Al Schoonmaker, Chris “Fox” Wallace, Adam Stemple

Some of the best cash game action of the year happens in Vegas during the WSoP. Learn what games to play, where and how to play them, and how to select the best game for you. Dr. Al gives psychological advice on how to deal with the cash game swings, and helps students to understand their individual psychological profile. Adam teaches specific tilt-avoidance techniques and strategy for some alternate games commonly spread during the WSOP. Fox will cover the basics of beating live cash games and take everyone through a strategy session of mock hands that pinpoints students’ leaks. This will be intense training, come ready to take notes and absorb a ton of information.

Wednesday, June 29th, 12:00pm-8:00pm — Tournaments

Instructors: Brett “gank” Jungblut, Chris “Fox” Wallace, Adam Stemple

If you’re in Vegas in June and July then you’re probably there to play tournaments, and this is the workshop for you. Featuring a 2-hour session with WSOP bracelet winner, Brett ‘gank’ Jungblut, this workshop will help you learn your push/folds, your ICM, and your inflection points, as well as how to stay off tilt during the grueling multi-day games. Applying bubble pressure, reading opponents in live events, and accumulating chips in the middle stages will be big topics. Some time will also be spent on the smaller, better-structured tournies that are running concurrently with the WSOP, as well as navigating the huge fields in the WSoP bracelet events.
